destinations

This post from kiteforum.com: Ken made the inquiry, and I re-posted it here for all to see.

My friend Walter is cruising his 42' sailboat to the Caribbean next winter. This is a major mid-life adventure between jobs and he will be joined by family and friends during this trip, He started kiting this past summer and would like to plan his sailing itinerary with plenty of kiting in mind, especially between mid to late January through March, after sailing from the northeast USA in Nov/Dec and holiday visits with family and guests. I have begun combing through kitebeaches.com in search of good kiteboarding spots but wonder if other forum users might have some experiences with beaches in the Caribbean, particularly ones that are accessible from anchorages with a seaworthy dingy. Thanks ahead of time for your experiences, links and suggestions.Last edited by emeryboarder on Fri Feb 01, 2008 5:55 am, edited 1 time in total.

there are loads of spots down here in the caribbean that you can access by dinghy, or just right off your boat. have been exploring from the bahamas to venezuela for many years and keep finding new spots to go, great wind too.http://www.caribbeankitesurfari.com/islandstylen@gmail.com if you want some more info.
